What you can expect

When you join us for Worship on Sunday Mornings at 10 a.m.

All are warmly welcome to join us for Sunday morning Worship!
You may enter up the steps on either side through the two front doors or use the handicapped accessible entrance on the West side of the church on Catharine Street. An elevator is available from this level which will take you up to the sanctuary. You may ask for assistance upon arrival.
Free parking is available in the Municipal Parking lot across from the church and there is also limited parking along Catharine Street. (Note that Catharine Street is one-way, North to South).
An usher will greet you and provide you with our Worship Bulletin which will guide you through our Sunday morning liturgy. You may ask the usher to seat you or you may seat yourself anywhere you like.
An organ prelude precedes the formal start of our worship service, after which our Pastor will share announcements on upcoming events and ministry updates from the prior week. Our traditional Lutheran liturgy follows the announcements and includes hymn singing, readings from the Bible, a brief children’s meditation, sermon, choral offering, intercessory and ecumenical prayers, and culminates with a celebration of Holy Communion at The Lord’s Table where all are welcome.

The service concludes with an organ postlude on our 3 manual, 32 rank 1907 Austin organ (Opus 219). Most of our members like to stay and listen to the postlude before moving downstairs to enjoy an informal fellowship hour, which includes refreshments and lively conversation!

There are cards in the pew racks that you may complete and place in the offering plate if you desire a call or visit from our pastor, or wish to make a prayer request.
